Terms Of Service

These terms are a working MVP baseline for Expensa. Review them with counsel before production launch.

1. Service

Expensa provides expense capture, expense document processing, review, approval, reporting, account management, billing, promotional trials, and operational tooling. Product-specific compliance requirements should be reviewed before launch.

2. Accounts And Access

Users are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for ensuring that account access is granted only to authorized people. Account, profile, organization, and plan data are managed by the application according to the active product configuration.

3. Customer Content

You must only add, upload, or process expense documents, receipts, and account information that you are authorized to use. You retain ownership of your content. The service processes account information, expense data, document artifacts, and billing-related metadata only to provide and operate the product.

4. Security And Confidentiality

The service includes authentication, role-aware account surfaces, billing controls, audit-oriented super-user tools, and operational logs. Production operation still requires environment-specific security, privacy, retention, and compliance review.

5. Subscriptions

Free and Professional plan entitlements are enforced by the application. Professional subscriptions are managed through Stripe Checkout and Stripe Billing Portal. Enterprise requests are sales inquiries and are not active subscriptions until separately agreed.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not attack the service, bypass plan or role restrictions, misuse promotional systems, upload malicious content except as part of authorized testing, or violate applicable laws.

7. Availability And Changes

The service may change as features evolve. Product behavior, plan entitlements, infrastructure, and these terms may be updated. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
